DISTRICT EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
Rev. Clemente Maldonado, Jr. was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and raised in Oklahoma. He graduated from Latin American Bible Institute in El Paso, Texas in 1978. He is an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1989. He has served as District Secretary/Treasurer from 1996-2005. Rev. Maldonado became Superintdent in November 2005. He has pastored churches in Oklahoma, Michigan and Illinois. He has been married for over 30 years to Esther and has three children and one grandchild.
Rev. Efraim Espinoza
Rev. Efraim Espinoza retired in March 2016 after serving more than 30 years at the Assemblies of God National Leadership Resource Center, Springfield, MO. His most recent assignment has been serving as the Director of the Office of Hispanic Relations in 2006, and as coordinator of Evangelio Pentecostal (Spanish Pentecostal Evangel) since 1995. Previously, he had filled various leadership roles including District liaison at National Sunday School Dept., Director of We Build People Office and National Coordinator of the U.S. Decade of Harvest Office.
His pastoral experience including serving as Senior Pastor at Templo Emanuel A/G in Crystal City, TX for 14 years and nearly 7 years at El Faro A/G in Springfield, MO. He graduated with honors from Latin American Bible Institute-Texas in 1971 and Evangel University, Springfield, MO in 2003.
He has co-authored three books and has written over two hundred articles published in National A/G publications. He participated in organizing FHEDDAD (Fraternidad Hispana de Escuela Dominical y Discipulado Asambleas de Dios) in 1998 and has served as secretary for this international group since its beginning.
Efraim and his wife, Elois have been married since 1969 and have three children and eight grandchildren.
Rev. Todd W. Clair, was born in Willmar, MN but raised in Michigan. In 1991, he graduated from North Central Bible College, Minneapolis, MN with a B.S. in Cross Cultural Ministries. In 2017, Todd completed his M.A. in Christian Ministries from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He has been an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1993. He and his wife, Carleen have two adult children.
In 1992, Todd planted Maranatha Asamblea de Dios, a Bi-lingual church in Minneapolis with the Minnesota District and pastored the church until 2004. He and the church became members of the Midwest Latin American District in 1996. Through this ministry several other churches were planted resulting in Minnesota being recognized as an official section of the MLAD.
He has served the Midwest Latin American District in various roles including MN Sectional Presbyter from 2002-2004, as an Executive Presbyter from 2002-2005, as the Missions Director from 2003-2013. Todd is currently serving MLAD as the District Secretary/Treasurer since 2005; Church Plant Director since 2003 and as the Illinois/Wisconsin Sectional Presbyter since 2017.
